Lecture @SII40

SPIRIT’s partner Filip De Turck, Professor at the Department of Information Technology (Intec) of the Ghent University (Belgium) will give a lecture at Services and Innovation for Industry 4.0 (SII40), a higher education initiative in the Emilia-Romagna region, that involves the universities of Bologna, Ferrara, Modena-Reggio Emilia, and Parma.

Prof. De Turck’s lecture will focus on immersive holographic-type communications and their applications in Industry 4.0.

About SII40

The SII40 course aims to encourage the development of advanced digital skills, both theoretical and practical, and the training of specialized personnel suitable for operating in the field of Industry 4.0. The initiative is aimed at two types of learners: recent master’s students and workers already employed and interested in operating in the new field of the digital industry and will provide seminars, workshops, and professional courses.
