  • TRANSMIXR

The TRANSMIXR project aims to create a range of human-centric tools for remote content production and consumption via social virtual reality.
  • The Virtual and Augmented Reality Industrial Coalition
    The Virtual and Augmented Reality Industrial Coalition is a platform for structured dialogue between the European VR/AR ecosystem and policymakers. 
  • COROB
    The Horizon Europe co-funded COROB project (COoperative and intelligent multi-ROBotic solution for arc welding-based manufacturing processes) aims to develop a cooperative, intelligent multi-robotic system for flexible and reconfigurable manufacturing in arc welding processes, addressing the needs of HMLV industrial production. By leveraging inspection, monitoring, control, and AI techniques, COROB enhances efficiency and flexibility in line with Industry 5.0 principles.
  • EUCloudEdgeIoT
    The EUCloudEdgeIoT.eu initiative aims to realise a pathway for the understanding and development of the Cloud, Edge and IoT (CEI) Continuum by promoting cooperation between a wide range of research projects, developers and suppliers, business users and potential adopters of this new technological paradigm.

    The purpose of OPENVERSE is to establish European Virtual Worlds characterised by openness, transparency, inclusivity, ethical and environmental responsibility, and to enhance EU’s technological sovereignty.
  • 6G-XR
    6G eXperimental Research’s ambition is to strengthen European leadership in 6G technologies by enabling next-generation XR services and infrastructures that will provide beyond-state-of-the-art capabilities towards the 6G era. The project will develop an experimental multisite Research Infrastructure (RI) to provide a validation platform for various 6G use cases by developing enablers for networking and computing, radio access technologies beyond 5G, enablers for XR services with in-build federation, trial management, abstraction tools as well as energy measurement frameworks.
  • CORTEX2
    CORTEX2 aims to facilitate remote collaboration between workers through next-generation XR technology solutions across a wide range of industries and SMEs. To this end, it is developing an innovative XR platform to facilitate work and social activities involving physical interaction with the environment and remote objects — from industrial cooperation to technical training and business meetings.

    The XR5.0 project aims to build, demonstrate, and validate a novel Person-Centric and AI-based XR paradigm tailored to the requirements and nature of I5.0 applications.

    XR4ED brings together the EdTech and XR communities to establish a European reference platform on learning and training with XR. This platform will provide a central access point to existing solutions and contribute to Europe’s leading position in cutting-edge education technologies.
  • HECOF – Higher Education Classroom Of the Future
    The HECOF project aims to revolutionize teaching in higher education through AI-driven, personalized, adaptive learning. Focused on Chemical Engineering, it leverages digital data to enhance student assessment and learning methods. HECOF fosters ethical AI development and supports education sector reform, aligning with the Digital Education Action Plan (2021-2027). It seeks to impact both academic and vocational training by promoting innovative digital teaching practices.

    The MASTER project enhances robotics training in manufacturing with its innovative open XR platform. By integrating key functionalities, MASTER creates safe, flexible robotic environments with advanced interaction mechanisms.
  • augMENTOR
    augMENTOR aims to revolutionise education by integrating emerging technologies into a pedagogical framework focused on developing both basic and 21st-century skills. Using an AI-boosted toolkit, the project will leverage machine learning algorithms to provide personalized learning pathways tailored to individual learners’ characteristics and preferences.
  • XR2Learn
    XR2Learn aims to establish cross-border creation of human-centric XR applications in education. The project will deliver its one-stop shop platform, organised as a Digital Innovation Hub, for all actors involved in the XR-based educational applications supply chain, aimed at enhancing training in manufacturing and distance learning scenarios.

  • XR2INDUSTRY
    XR2INDUSTRY focuses on developing fundamental blocks for a reference XR European platform, marking it as the first European data-aware XR headset. XR2INDUSTRY aims to the creation of a European reference platform aiming to develop and prototype advanced interoperable XR solutions to solve common challenges encountered by the industry (in areas such as assembly, maintenance, remote operation, training, design, logistics, etc.), placing the wellbeing of workers at the centre of the production process.
  • MOTIVATE XR
    By making training and the most complex industrial tasks more appealing, safer, and more accessible, MOTIVATE XR aims to contribute to a novel generation of  XR collaborative authoring, publishing, and experiencing tool suite for training and assistance to industrial operations such as the assembly, manufacturing, maintenance, and dismantlement of industrial goods. MOTIVATE XR uses the latest advances in No-Code authoring, interactive storytelling, generative AI, knowledge and story graphs, 3D videogrammetry scanning, XR smart headsets and telepresence to showcase a complete, end-to-end solution.

BeyondXR

The project cluster BeyondXR brings together several pioneering EU projects focused on XR (Extended Reality) and emerging technologies. By fostering synergies among projects, BeyondXR seeks to revolutionise not only learning but also how XR and AI technologies are applied across various sectors to drive innovation and societal impact.
